Starting out

Junior coaching

Adelaide Rising Stars runs performance squads for juniors who are already competing. Getting there usually starts earlier, and there's a clear path at the same venue.

The path

Start: group coaching at the club

Beginner and development group programs at Tea Tree Gully Tennis Club are run by Tea Tree Tennis, led by head coach Jason Todd with his coaching team. It's where most juniors learn the fundamentals before they start competing.

Build: private lessons with Ashwin

One-to-one coaching, all levels, by arrangement. Focused work on the parts of a player's game that decide matches — the fastest route from solid fundamentals to squad-ready.

Compete: ARS squads

Advanced and Elite squads for juniors competing regularly, grouped by rating rather than age. Players move up when their level says they're ready.
